Sustainable Green Technology – Cooling from waste heat
Economic conditions and environmental regulations for industrial and agricultural cooling energy generation have changed considerably in recent years. With high electricity tariffs and strict environmental regulations, absorption chillers have become the best alternative for utilizing waste heat from industrial processes or power generation. They are economically more favorable than conventional compression chillers.
The Lithium Bromide absorption chiller “YAZAKI” generates cooling energy up to +5 °C. It primarily requires heat generated during industrial processes or power generation in a CHP plant or gas turbine. This low-temperature heat often cannot be utilized otherwise.
